VIVA LA BUBBA!

Bubba Watson makes golf about as fun to watch as anyone. He’s won the Masters twice but never had a golf lesson in his life. YouTube is littered with videos of him taking out his pink driver and just… hitting stuff. It was a perfect fit for the anti-establishment attitude Oakley wanted to bring to the game. We mixed down-to-earth with larger-than-life in this digital, social, event and print campaign.

 

The campaign launched at the Waste Management Open in Phoenix and took over the tournament. #VIVALABUBBA also took over social media with thousands of hits on the first day alone.
